Stronghold Finder (desktop)

Start: double-click StrongholdFinder.bat (Windows), or run
    java -jar stronghold_finder-desktop.jar
Quit: close the window.

From the source repository (not this zip): after a git pull, double-click
desktop\launch\RebuildStrongholdFinder.bat once, or run
"gradlew.bat :desktop:build" in the repository folder, so the new code is used.

How to use it:
  1. Throw an eye of ender, look at it while it hovers, press F3+C.
  2. If the window shows feet -> x z, walk there (follow the arrow and the
"distance . facing" row), throw again, press F3+C.
  3. When no feet row is left, the pin x z row is the stronghold: dig down.
The window reads only that F3+C text from the clipboard, nothing else from the
game. A Nether F3+C shows the way in Nether coordinates.

What the rows mean:
feet -> x z where to take the next throw
number . angle how far, and the F3 facing to turn to (the arrow too)
pin x z % best guess; % = chance it is in that chunk or one next to it
red square x z the same spot in Nether coordinates
  eye N throws so far
  orange ! N       throw N doesn't fit the others (crosshair was off the eye);
it counts less. Seeing it often? Set Aim looser.
Buttons: Undo forgets the last throw, New search starts over, Settings.

Settings has two separate choices:
Throws to plan for (default 3): how many throws you take. More throws, less
walking. 2 is for Nether travel: a long side trip on foot, short in the
Nether; afterwards the pin is the answer, sometimes a chunk or two off. If
so, throw once more near it.
Aim: how far off the eye your crosshair really is. It does not change the
number of throws, only how much each throw is trusted (and so the spots).
Careful (0.03 deg): zoomed in with a spyglass.
Normal (0.1 deg): wait until the eye hovers, then aim. The default.
Relaxed (0.2 deg): quick aim, often a little off the eye.
    Loose (0.3 deg): rough aim.

Resize the window and the text scales with it. Settings > Overlay removes the
title bar and makes the background see-through: drag to move, drag the
bottom-right corner to resize, Close to quit. It shows over Minecraft in
windowed or borderless mode, not exclusive fullscreen.

Needs Java 17 or newer (Minecraft's own Java works; the launcher looks for it).
